Pennsylvania's top 2016 football recruits: Prep Charter DE Karamo Dioubate

Prep Charter's Karamo Dioubate is ranked as Pennsylvania's No. 1 prospect at defensive end and is ranked inside the Top 125 nationally, according to one recruiting site. (247Sports.com )

Explosive is probably the best word to describe our next football recruit in PennLive's Top 20 in the Class of 2016. Prep Charter defensive end Karamo Dioubate checks in at No. 9, bringing with him a feared combination of size and speed.

Born in New York, Dioubate spent part of his early childhood in Liberia, where his parents are from, but he's since warmed up to playing football in the states.

A PA Football Writers' All-State selection, Dioubate was a unanimous pick following a 23-sack campaign.

9. THE DIOUBATE FILE
School: Prep Charter
Height: 6-3
Weight: 250
Star ratings: 4 stars by 247Sports.com and Rivals; not-ranked by Scout

Quick hits: Dioubate confirmed his on-the-rise status last February, making the All-Combine team at the Nike Football Tour stop in New Jersey. Clocked in the 4.8 neighborhood, Dioubate is ranked as the No. 8 recruit at his position and 123rd overall by Rivals. He sits at No. 5 in the state and 143rd overall on 247Sports.com's composite rankings.

When you apply lethal force at the line of scrimmage, we supposed titling your highlight reel "Year of the Reaper" is just good business. It's easy to see why Dioubate is getting major attention from NCAA programs near and far.

General chaos seems to follow when the 6-3 Dioubate breaks the line. He plays a lot bigger than those 250 pounds would suggest, so it will be interesting to see which side he takes and in what defensive scheme.

Either way, Dioubate possesses good speed - he's been clocked in the 4.85 neighborhood - and a healthy desire, that much is clear.

Among the highlights is Dioubate's speed around the edge (1:33) and that taxing strength (2:10) that helps him blow up a simple dive. When he stays under his pads, Dioubate uses that leverage to get to his spot. We see it countless times when he's blocking as Prep Charter's right tackle.

One of his best plays comes at 4:08 as Dioubate darts inside to disrupt another developing run play. We also love to see the big guys staying with that play as long as possible.

Dioubate rings up a half-dozen pancake blocks some 15 yards downfield when a 5-yard burst would have been sufficient. That speaks volumes about Dioubate's character.

Too large and fast...Would never stay put on the d-line, not fitting into our hold until relieved defense... Al's not into wasting a scholly on someone who would be playing every down in the other teams backfield..

Paranos...Noticed over the last few years you've had several posts on legitimate , gifted players who seem to end up somewhere in college football...Have you ever during Golden"s tenure had a discovery Al's shown interest in?

Paranos once had an akward moment, just to see how it feels!

Again, he is often questioned by law enforcement officers because he truly defines the definition of a "Person of interest"!!!

Paranos is my dawg!

Lmao. Spook that was great. Paranos has some good finds jjust seems like golden likes his camp finds better.
