Class of 2016: updated as of 1/21/18

Gotta find that pic for you of Mullins, Wright and Burns when they were kids.

Would be shocked if Wright and Burns don't pick the U when they decide. That pressure definitely gotta be on especially with Dionte committed.

Where is the beef? Are we only looking at 1 DL?

There are only 5 DL (1 DT) in the top 50 and Bosa is not coming to the U.

That video of Shaq at 1:15 shows his incredible speed, the kid can tackle. Super excited have an incredibly talented and smart player coming to the U!

Dam looking at the ESPN 300, it's loaded with guys we have a legit shot with: Shavar Manuel, Trayvon Mullen, Salomon, Okeke Valentine, Cedrick Wright, Patrick Bethel, Aaron Thompson, and Malik young. And that's not even including those NJ kids that Golden might be able to pull.
This class is going to be special, especially at receiver. We don't need anyone, except a DT, outside of the state of Florida in this recruiting class.

WR Sam Bruce vs. Dillard
J.T. Wilcox @JTWilcoxSports · 32m
.@_QUICK6 left the game during STA's 1st drive & HASN'T returned. It appeared to be a cramp, but he's on sideline w/o his helmet

LB Michael Pinckney
took back a fumble for a TD and had quite a few tackles for Raines.

2016 Prospects:

RB Amir Rasul
@JoshDarrow: Amir Rasul. **** Coral Gables backfield is LOADED!!!! One cut, turns corner #ByeBye
@JerryRecruiting: Coral Gables 16` RB Amir Rasul 20 yard TD.

WR Freddie Pinder
@JoshDarrow: 2016 WR Freddie Pinder, Jr with a 10 yd TD reception. Also hauled in a long catch on an out and up. #beast

DE Patrick Bethel
Vero Beach destroyed Palm Bay. Bethel blocked a field goal and had a couple TFL. They ran away from him most plays.

WR Binjimen Victor
VBenjamin looks kinda soft. Looks the part but hasn't dominated like I thought.
Benjamin must have heard me. Big time catch. Still inconsistent but he is making himself known. Has drops drops but two big time catches.

Davante Phillips
had two big catches but struggled at times

S Jamel Cook
played great against Hoover, made big plays and had an INT.

LB Donovan Thompson
played great as well against Hoover. Looks like a Sean Spence clone on the field.

QB Buckshot Calvert
had 6 TDs.

WR Steven Newbold
had over 200 all purpose yards.

DE Shavar Manuel
had a sack and a few TFL but Tampa Bay Tech run everything away from and doubled him all night

WR Brandon Johnson
reeled in a 20 yard TD. Cane legacy and apparently is Ochocinco nephew accord to twitter.

DE Brian Burns
looked nice out there. DE to watch out for.

i generally don't ride with ESPN, but they got Snelson right. That kid is a beast. He and Bruce top 5 nationally at WR in '16.

2016 RB target Deon McIntosh has been offered by Tennessee according to his Cardinal Gibbons teammate, QB Jake Allen.

2016 – Bryce Handy, OLB/DE, 6-1, 220, Miami Christopher Columbus: While many prospects in this class are already getting plenty of hype, here is an emerging standout who could end up being as good as any. Handy is a versatile line prospect that is quick, strong and has great bloodlines. His father, Darren, was a standout at Columbus before playing at the University of Miami. His coach believe that by the end of the season, he will be one of the top players in south Florida.
TAPE: Bryce Handy - Hudl

In The Huddle: Elbre Gaiter – Westminster Christian
By J.T. Wilcox
Updated: February 2, 2014

PLAYER: Elbre Gaiter
CLASS: 2016
POSITION: WR
SCHOOL: Miami Westminster Christian
HEIGHT: 5-7
WEIGHT: 170

SCOUTING: One of the most explosive, young difference makers in the region. The son of former University of Miami speedster, Tony Gaiter, this is a very productive athlete who has the chance to be another Roscoe Parrish-type of elusive playmaker who gets results. On offense, Gaiter’s play in the slot is impressive, although the Warriors could also use him at quarterback to display his overall athletic ability – much like Parrish did at Miami High. He is a very instinctive player who is stronger than most believe.

CRYSTAL BALL: His next two years will dictate plenty about his future. Colleges loved him a year ago as a sophomore, so many will continue to stick with him and watch his progress.
