LOL! Winning doesn't make you a champion! And evidently isn't a prerequisite to getting lofty contract extensions! :)

Wow, that is depressing. Can't wait to see 3 try and bunt his way to Supers tomorrow.

And if you go back one more year, you've got that terrible performance in Omaha by what was a LOADED roster.

You do realize that EVERY SINGLE one of the teams that we lost to went to the World Series in Omaha. Every..... Single..... One......

What is the point of this thread? Because we are playing really well and about to make a Super Regional? Why even follow Canes baseball if you can't enjoy this right now?

Really, Quenie..... Stony Brook beat us and then traveled to LSU and stomped on them, and then won a game in Omaha.

Florida beat us twice, both times on errant throws by Perez, and Florida later came within a game of winning it all......twice

Louisville also beat us and won a game in Omaha. Texas Tech beat us and ended up in Omaha.

EACH team that beat us won a Super Regional and ended up in Omaha. Your rant has no validity. At minimum, gather some facts prior to proclaiming such asinine assertions.

Alright well I'm a Canes baseball fan by nature so I'm going to root for us and enjoy this season.

No, you are actually VERY incorrect. Stony Brook did NOT win a game in Omaha.

Florida did not come within a game of winning it all, let alone twice. In 2010 they went 0-2 in Omaha and in 2011 they got swept in the championship series.

Louisville did not win a game in Omaha when they eliminated us in 2013.

Also, in your previous post you claimed that every team who "beat us" went on to Omaha. You put a ton of emphasis on EVERY SINGLE TEAM. In 2009 when we were eliminated by Florida they went on to get swept in the Supers by Southern Miss in Gainesville.

It is hilarious and extremely ironic how you want QOS to gather some facts when you are so wrong.

Bunted all the way didn't he?

Antwan is a miserable person who is incapable of enjoying life. He will be rooting for VCU next weekend, no doubt about that.

Haha, it's definitely because I motivated them with that remark.

However, one result doesn't change the bigger issues, like only winning a regional 2 out of 7 years (and hosting those regionals most of the time.) That is not indicative of a job well done. I hope this team keeps on piling on the runs all the way to Omaha, and that it continues going forward.

The common point in all of that: we lost.

LOL, strong work on your "facts". Win: QueenofSpades.

I feel like if we win the Super vs Vcu then im gonna hear. "well thats 1 in 7 years....pathetic" or something like that. I get the recent history hasnt been sucessful but out of respect for the current players lets enjoy this years team and leave the past in the past and be positive about a trip to Omaha.
