Nothing about the OL?

Hope for Gray he can make an impact at FB, kid has been around so long, let him go out with some PT. i guess the coaches felt he deserved to stick around because richt didnt force him out.

The oline is going to be in the coming days

The need some blocking mileage out of Polendey at 6-6/247.
he needed to redshirt but he at least has game experience and a good amount of time in the program. it's nice to be 4 deep
at the position.

The thought of Deejay averaging 12-15 touches a game puts a huge smile on my face! That's a good amount of touches for a non-starter. The more touches, the better!

Even more encouraging, based off of interviews from Hartley, Richt, and Brown, it looks 12 personnel is going to be a look that we see quite often this year. I'm not trying to anoint Mallory and Jordan prior to them taking a snap in a collegiate game, but it's very reasonable to think that both are going to play huge roles in our offense this year.

We are like a Narco militia.......we have weapons everywhere!

Just don’t see any defense that can stop us once Jordan and Mallory are up to snuff catching passes and leading blocks (Jordan more so). Then add in all that talent that’s 3-4 deep across all the WR positions it’s imperative Rosier improves to at least a 60% passer. He does that we average 35ppg easily. Especially with that army truckload of tailbacks and fullbacks we’ll deploy. Man, I can’t wait for September 2nd when we get to unless it all for the whole nation to see...and start weeping.

If Miami just gets decent-to-good QB play I dont see why this unit can put up huge numbers. And to be fair it's not all on Rosier, they also need a RT to emerge. But the playmakers and depth are in abundance. The WR and RB talent, I'd compare with any other team in the country and the incoming TE's are as good as anyone else's(in terms of freshman)

If Rosier can just consistently make routine throws and get his percentage up to 60-percent Id be thrilled. He doesn't have to be a game-breaker just a facilitator out there in my view

Rosier has got to take the next step for us to truly become a national factor. He was just too inconsistent last year, OL also has to be able to impose their will at times. We were stuffed on 3rd and short too many times last year.

This.

I know it's beating a dead horse with Ro, but I was at the Pitt game last year and we had WRs running wide open all day and he either didn't see them or completely botched the throw and rarely was it b/c of OL play (at least in that game). We can keep adding stud WRs, TEs, etc, but if the QB play is so poor that they can be running wide open and we still can't get the ball to them then I don't see us taking htat next step.

We can have the fastest, greatest receivers in football - but someone has to get the ball to them.

Or, we'll quickly be back to "Maybe next year - or the next."

The guy came in as a blocker. I don't know his frame or his footwork, but he's already 6'6" and 250....could he be turned into a OL tackle? We've turned TE's into OL in the past.

Jason Fox comes to mind another guy from Texas who I believe started out as a TE here and became a player on the OL

Fox was 40 lbs heavier than Polendy when they both stepped on campus.

Polendey is pretty maxed out physically. Maybe he can get to 255-260 but he's never going to be an OT
