Anyone know why he has decided to leave??
 
Never was big on him, always looked quite meh when watching him.

I wish him all the luck in the world though .
 
People were always enamored with his size, but his on field results have been mediocre at best.

The doom and gloomers will see this as some kind of referendum on Golden, no doubt.
 
Kid was not able to play tackle and is behind Feliciano, Isadora and Gall.

As a 5th year senior, he can go somewhere else and play right away.

We need to purge this roster of all Shannon kids as quickly as possible.

How could it not be? The ship is sinking and the golden apologist try to spin all the bad news into "that's ok... we'll move on and be better for it."

This has nothing to do with whether Bunche can play or not. It had to do with the currents state of affairs at UM. Recruits dropping like flies, current players upset - some transferring, half the BOT and administration being against golden / half on his side. On and on and on.

Don't be all high and mighty and thumb your nose to me because you view everything in a half glass full manner. Good for you. I tried that under Coker & Shannon. I tried ignoring the truth. I won't go down that road again.

Let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe he had his end of year review which Golden has for each and every kid and he didn't like what he was told. Golden could be playing his BS earn your spot and has him listed 2nd or 3rd string when we as fans no good as well he will be starting game 1 bc he will be a senior and have more experience.

Not sure what to think.
 
Players transfer every year, from nearly every school, for various reasons. You have no idea why he is transferring, that is purely speculation on your part.

I was simply saying he wasn't that good, so him transferring bothers me none.

And I've never explicitly stated my thoughts on the program, its current state or its future trajectory so... More assumptive speculation on your part.

2014 will be Bunche's 6th year out of HS. He is what he is. I don't see him getting much better.

I wish him luck wherever he goes.

The story isnt that a player is transferring. The story here is that an incoming Senior is transferring! Very interesting.

he's not great but he's in the rotation. Depth is overrated anyways

Any player Golden evaluates that gets a sub par rating should tell Golden to go **** himself. If Al isn't willing to honestly evaluate his staff then you can't honestly evaluate the players. Hypocrisy at its best
 
We will miss the quality depth, but Bunche was awful in both pass pro on the exterior and blitz pick up on the interior. He also is not very good at holding his run block and was by far our worst rotating lineman. I will miss him because he has good experience but let's not make him out to be Larry Allen
