1. Perry will take over as the starter and exfoliate Mark Richt’s offense. With his his mobility, arm strength and an more accurate QB than Rosier, I believe our offense will flourish. He is singlehandidly going to change our offense.

2. Look for both freshman tight ends to be given chances for big playing time. Irvin doesn’t have the talent that Mallory and Jordan have and I think Jordan will come in and be able to be a big contributor next year. I see Jordan taking over as the starter after the first few games.

3. I expect to see a lot of Steed, Jennings and Wilder. I think Owens transfers out of here and we see Mike Smith and Zach McCloud get less playing time.

4. These defensive backs are going to be rotating in like crazy. Jaquan will be the leader out there every play but I expect all the freshman to get opportunities if they play well in practice. This staff is trying to level up this secondary and the young talent is the next step.

5. Gerald Willis will have a monster year, pending he stays healthy and continues to remain on the team. He was one of the best players we had in 2016 when he was healthy and I think he’ll make all of us forget about losing McIntosh.

Last thing I want to mention. By the end of next year I believe people will believe it is not our offense anymore that is the problem. With Perry it will be high octane and difficult to consistently stop. It will be the defense that everyone is looking at wondering why QB’s look so great throwing on us.

Exfoliate is an interesting verb choice.

I think the offense will take a huge step forward, but it won’t be just because of the QB. We will have so many more weapons and the three true freshman who got a lot of PT this year at the skill positions should take big jumps forward. Plus we get the best player on the team back.

Don’t know what to make of the defense.
