Like a true freshman who was handcuffed until the 4th quarter and then lead a 10 point 4th quarter comeback and double overtime win? Like that kind of QB?

If he steps up and performs at a higher level than TVD, yeah.
He was average to below average in the first half and great in the second half for a true freshman making his first start against a quality opponent.
He was bad in the 1st half, and above average to good in the 2nd half for a starting Miami QB.
Pretty simple.
I hope he steps up in a big way, because getting a high quality transfer QB isn't a guarantee in any way.

He was handcuffed something awful in the first half.

Of course he had jitters but Dawson didn’t help him at all. Everything was tight and the response to a mistake or hint of a mistake was for Dawson/Mario to turtle.

Until they needed him to save the game in the 4th. When he delivered like a young Dorsey.
