I loved the decision to go for the TD, but the play call was pathetic. Bunch formation on the 2 and we let them get penetration as well.

If Kaaya had the ability to audible that would have been a good time.

It was a passive call but not a terrible one. We tried play action many times in short yardage and VT did a real nice job locking up our TEs.

We had them breaking, a TD there would have completely demoralized them. I agree with your play call.

No doubt a TD finishes them off, but we needed the 3 pts there. Had to get something out of the turnover.

I considered that a statement play. We were owning the LoS and I think the coaches wanted to prove something physically. Play action mightve worked but I dont think that was a consideration--it was about trying to prove something. That individual play failed but pales in comparison to the whole game.

I agree with the OP. I didn't mind the decision to go for it but running Edwards straight into the pile against a stacked box on 4th and almost 3 was pretty stupid.

Stop it with the "3 score" and "4 score" game nonsense. They weren't going to score three times if we gave them another three quarters. The game was essentially over. It was a great decision, bad play.

we've missed 3 extra points this year. i don't think we have anything guaranteed in place kicking.

Punch it in. It's the right move. Shows confidence in your OL. Takes the fight out of the opposition..

I liked the move and was glad the coaches were putting faith in the players. If you go back and watch the players before that play they were fired up. Those types of calls help acoach win over a team.

They did block a PAT late in the game, just sayin. I like the decision but not the play call.
