Amazing how what you should have done is so clear AFTER THE FACT.

So many here post it like they knew what should have been done beforehand....as if they could easily do what these players and coaches did to get to the Super Bowl.

This game was played at the highest level with both teams giving their best. It was a pleasure to to watch it from the Sidelines.

I for one wont fall into the fallacy of believing that I can do the same or better than something I'm watching Pro's do on TV. I'm content to watch those that REALLY CAN...do it

49ers held the Chiefs to 10 points in the first half, have the ball, get the ball first in the second half...and they are so scurred of what the Chiefs can do that they don't even try to score.

Are you seriously trying to argue that the Chiefs would have scored 40-some-odd unanswered points in those 90s seconds?

Or are you arguing that BECAUSE the Chiefs can score a lot, it's smart to sit on a 10-10 tie heading into the half?

People saw the mistakes AS THEY WERE HAPPENING. Not "after the fact".

John Lynch was immediately calling for a timeout, while Shanahan let time run off the clock.

Easy to spot.

Couldn't have known IF it was a mistake or not until after it happened. Until the events that followed were known.

Coaches make mistakes too, even obvious mistakes. Especially Shanahan.

I have nothing against the 49ers, but Shanahan has not performed well in Super Bowls.
