4 TE's going down in one year, might be a blessing in disguise

Of course, I don't want any of our kids injured, but since all 4 TE's are injured, here's what I saw out of the play calling: it's more aggressive.

It's difficult to not be aggressive when you're running a 4 WR, 1 back set or 3 WR, 2 back set.

Mark HAAAAAAATTTEEEESSSSS throwing on 1st down!!! Yet, when you know you have a sucky OL and NO TE's, it becomes a necessity. The absence of TE's may force Mark into passing early and doing more screens, which is what you do when your OL can't run block for crap.

They may all be in non-contact jerseys by fall camp and Polendy and Irvin were on transfer watch going into this season.

It's definitely not what I want to see, but I don't think Richt is going to completely change his offensive philosophy, we don't know the length of recovery for Irvin and Polendey and we don't yet know the extent of Jordan and Mallory's injuries.
 
Non should transfer..we need to have 5 -6 scolly TE ON This roster. We were thin with only 4 going in..3 healthy..1 gets hurt early on which was HUGe. Polendy might not have been a **** threat down field. But was a good blocker

Who is Non?
 
I think we need a legitimate blocking tight end. We've got Hillery lining up out of pure necessity in that role right now.

If we were to get three in this cycle (we aren't, but still)...one should be a JUCO or Grad Transfer blocking TE.
