Mario Cristobal is trying to wrap up the 2027 recruiting class by adding an elite four-star safety talent, who will be back on campus this weekend.

Four-star safety Andre Hyppolite will be checking out the Hurricanes campus and facilities as the Hurricanes look to lock up his recruitment.

Miami has been the long-time favorite to land the four-star safety. The in-state Florida Gators are battling the Hurricanes for the 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect out of North Miami Beach, Florida.

According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Andre is currently viewed as a four-star product. He also ranks as the No. 142 player nationally, No. 10 safety, and the No. 15 player out of the Sunshine State.

This past season for North Miami Beach High School, he totaled for 63 tackles and five interceptions. On the offensive side of the ball, he caught 32 passes for 405 yards and four touchdowns.

Miami currently is ranked as the No. 2 recruiting class in the 2027 cycle. The class is headlined by four five-star products: Donte Wright, Israel Abrams, Jaiden Bryant, and Nick Lennear.

According to both On3 and 247Sports, he is currently projected to land with the Miami Hurricanes. Adding someone like Andre will give the Hurricanes their second safety pledge in the class, joining Jaylyn Jones
