I don't think it has anything to do with Sanguinetti. I think he wants to play the process out. He is going to take his visits and see what he wants to see. The whole recruiting dead period really stinks this year- there is one week available for visits. It does stink about Paradise - really hoped he would just go to OU later. I think being on that team at the Opening with all the OU commits really made their appeal that much more.

Recent interview on Rivals he states he's going to Oklahoma over UM for Paradise camp and is taking an OV to Penn state for their game against OSU. Also said he's pushing his decision back till signing day.

Really think the whole Sanguinetti thing plays a factor in his decision.

If we haven't, we really need to turn up the heat on John Emery Jr to get him down for Paradise camp. Also need to pick up contact with Nayquan Wright too.
I'm not worried about Mac.. some of these guys we need to fall back from.
Let's have a strong season on the field and finish strong and then come signing day let's see what's what. It's July 10th not December 10th. I'll take the long on this option

What's crazy is Ivins reported that he's not even high on OU's board. So you take a trip out there over Paradise camp, our premier recruiting event of the year.

Did the same thing last year when he visited OSU over Paradise camp.

Doesn't make sense to me

Auction has officially begun , heavy bag is now in play.

GOCANES
Nah. Ain’t no one dropping bags over this kid. He better not make the same mistake as his friend and get left without a spot just because he’s waiting too long.

sounds like everyone on staff is on him - CMR included. I think it's pretty clear he has a spot - maybe that's the reason for all the trips.

Measured in at the opening at 6'0.5" 218 pounds. Scratched his 40 and shuttle times.
The way dudes are talking about him being a "big" back I thought he was 6'3 and 240. That's a pretty average sized RB who obviously runs horrible 40 and shuttle times.

His Opening showing was far more impressive than said times, but you wouldn't get that point

Exactly. You don't transfer(as the starting RB) from ND to Eastern Miss Community College.

On Monday, Brian Kelly said he hadn’t closed the door on running back Deon McIntosh’s return to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.

On Tuesday, the running back took the initiative to close it himself.

He did it himself to be a bounce back and get recruited again. Kids do it all the time...That Last Chance u spot is the place to go as they get flooded with div 1 coaches

I seen the show many times lol. Buddy is going to be on his ***. The thing is he already has a starting spot at one of the biggest names in football with one of the best OLs. Its not like he plays at Purdue and wants to try and get more exposure or transferring to try and get more playing time. The ND guys where saying that he was basically shown the door and he knew he would be on a tight leash if he stayed.
