...is all that should be tolerated this season. We basically have 4 games facing comparable talent and we SHOULD be able to go at least 2-2 vs. those teams if Mario is truly the guy. As usual, we'll probably drop one against an inferior opponent but that would still leave us with a final record of 9-3. Sure, a Bowl win would be nice for a change, but even a 9-4 finish would provide us with strong momentum heading into the offseason. Likewise, an 8-4 regular season + a Bowl victory would give Mario a promising future to sell to recruits.

Listen, BC just lost to a terrible Northern Illinois team and Virginia got thrashed by Tennessee. This conference is once again super mid and we saw last night that we not only have better talent but improved coaching over last season, as well -- on both sides of the ball. I'm tired of the mediocrity and underachievement that has infected this program for too f**king long.

No excuses this year, just get it done.

Mario is bringing in dogs. Guys who don't wanna lose. The carefree dancing is over! This recruiting class and the rest of the team are on a mission! Look out ACC! Cat 5 Hurricane coming right thru the conference ! Anyone in that path will be obliterated!

We are not beating Clemson or UNC. So that’s 2. The other 2 are FSU and A&M. As long as Mario doesn’t throw a **** in any of the other games 8 wins is very attainable this season. 9 wins if he can somehow go 1-1 against A&M and FSU.

We ain't losing no 4 games.

See Miami could win any game on its schedule. But I wouldn’t have us as the favorites right now vs A&M, Clemson, UNC, or FSU.

That’s 4 potential losses without any weird circumstances causing an extra one.

Stop overreacting to one game. This year is about improvement. Maybe we pull a few upsets. But thinking we should automatically win x number of games because we looked good against Miami of Ohio is dumb. We have a tough schedule. Buckle up and hope for the best

Out of those 4 I honestly think unc is the most beatable for us but it’s only week one we'll see

I’ll say this, we should without a doubt beat BCU, temple (barely beat Akron by 3, but this a game in the past that would be close), Georgia tech (could see it being closer, that team doesn’t give up), Virginia, NC state (barely beat a terrible but improved UConn team, Louisville (they will be better by the team we get them), and BC.

The only games that should be competitive are the four remaining.

I think Texas A&M is the most winnable followed by FSU then Clemson and North Carolina.

I agree a 2-2 split is most realistic/optimistic.

This team really should go 10-2 this year. Outside of the four games, the schedule is dog ****
