3/30/24 Game 28: Clemson 1pm ACCNX

When you’ve got more errors than hits it’s probably going to be a bad day. Clemson’s first shutout of the year.

Began to pack my things after Clemson's leadoff double in the top of the 1st. Stood up to leave when Jimenez threw to 3B instead of taking the sure out at 1B. Left the stadium after Herick's bases clearing throwing error. Hate to say it, but if today was any indication, not winning last night may have a ruinous effect on the rest of the season.

If there are any gamblers here, you've got to take advantage of the sportsbooks' lack of college baseball knowledge. They had Clemson at a mere -145 today.

I’m gonna keep posting it, bc it’s right. When the home run numbers fall back to earth, this team can’t do anything.
Ground breaking analogy. Of course if a teams stops hitting it’s going to start to struggle.

The real issues is that our pitching can’t maintain high scoring games let alone lead us to a victory when the bats are cold. Asking your 1 & 2 to go 7-8 because mid week and sundays are a revolving door isn’t going to lead to postseason baseball.

This team has never “hit.” They’ve put up power numbers that were never sustainable. You’re seeing What happens when that comes back down to earth, right now.

There are questions about this team that cannot be answered by what's currently on the roster. That's a bad omen when that's the case...and I mean that for both players and coaches. JD has the job of cutting the dead weight on the roster (both players/coaches) and making improvements. Gonna see if he can handle the job of doing all of that. I hope he can, but I'm not holding my breath for it either.
