Why do we forget how to play football every 2nd quarter? Run out of scripted plays...get too comfortable...wish we would put together 4 quarters just one time

We've had bad O-line protection and Rosier needs better pocket awareness. Our D is playing good though, so there's hat.

I agree...no way duke should have 3 sacks and we should be able to run the ball more consistently

Only complaint I have is the O-line play's been mediocre this game. Other than that, we've been decent. Run defense was bad at the beginning, but they look better now.

Too many 3rd down conversions for defense to be considered good, 3rd and 19, 3rd and 13...thats why duke has so many long posessions...

Still not to crazy about this defense.We are lucky Duke has stopped themselves a couple times.

And that playcalling by the end zone was pathetic.You had 3 downs to gain an inch.Spread them out and run Walton or Homer or send Rosier on a read option.Not that push the QB in with a center BS..

Good news is we are up 11....would love to score out of the half.

Fun fact...take out defensive td's and FAMU, FAU and we win 2nd quarter last year 83-77 and that's with a 21-0 quarter in the bowl game...regular season means we lose 2nd quarter 77-62...offense doesn't do much in the 2nd quarter with a 6.2 pts per game in the 2nd quarter during the regular season...and things haven't changed this year...24-22 and that's with Toledo and BCU

Exactly...3rd and 5 and you blitz 2 interior DBs...giving away an easy 1st down...i would rather cover and let our beastly front four go to work....

and the blitzers are coming from too far the Duke QB just keeps completing easy 5 yd passes against our LBs..

Exactly. Showing the blitz early and coming from too far away. Dont understand it. As others have said, let the front 4 do their thing.
 
March richt throwing the **** ball every play and not utilizing the second best player in the conference is the reason this game is t over already. He did this same **** at UGA and cost them games. He really doesn't understand the importance of running th ball for some reason

We haven't ran the ball well all game...same issue as last year, but this last drive we did well when we put 4 wide so hopefully we do that some more...

Who the **** cares about the second quarter? Did the retarded op even bother to look at the score?
