Standing at 6-foot, and 175-pounds, 2028 Temecula (Ca.) Chaparral wide receiver Tristan "LJ" Pierce announced on social media that he received an offer from the Miami Hurricanes.
Pierce picked up the scholarship offer after camping in Miami this month. The Hurricanes now joins a growing offer list including UCLA, Arizona State, Purdue, Washington, California, among others.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is currently viewed as a three-star prospect. The website also list him as the nation's No. 502 player nationally, No. 70 wide receiver, and No. 49 out of California.
According to his MaxPreps profile, he only recorded two catches for 10 yards. Pierce goes to the same school as one of Miami's top 2027 prospect, Eli Woodard.
Miami has only one committed player in the 2028 recruiting class: three-star quarterback Knox Annis. Mario Cristobal and his Hurricanes' coaching staff remain on the hunt for the next great talent to come through Coral Gables.
