I saw this last season with a couple of decent players from NC.
It happens

I don’t think we dropped Paulino, please let me know if you have different info. He is expected to be a contributor for FSU this season.

I completely understand why we dropped Allman. I haven’t quite figured out why we dropped Rathmann. His HS stats are solid. But I think it came down to how many OF’s are we really going to take that are undersized, + you can always find OF’s in the portal.

We also have Jon Mora committed who I think is better than Rathmann

It's standard and part of the deal, but you feel for that Allman kid. He went through the process, worked hard, stayed out of trouble, was committed for over a year, and then a school just says, nah.

Both sides do it, but since it's a kid having it ripped away, I tend to feel for them.

Allman deserved to get dropped imo Lance. The kid committed to us and then stopped working. And we can’t make the excuse that he got hurt. He got hurt and then came back mid way through his junior HS year, he decided to go to Europe with his girlfriend instead of playing summer ball. Strange decision in my opinion.

I have no sympathy for him brother. The coaches get so much **** from this fan base. We cannot take kids that aren’t working and that we aren’t confident they will come in and perform.

The player I have sympathy for is Rathmann. Loyal kid. He was committed for three year. He was also very solid in all three of his HS years. Batting around .380. I do not know his summer stats, but he took an OV to us this September, he played in the WWBA and some big tournaments that Jonathan was at. I think it came down to numbers with him. We have him and Jon mora committed, mora is local and I think he is better. He plays a position that we can recruit in the portal.
