Interesting Note
Alex Valentin who was cut after the first scrimmage of fall last season is listed on the Brewster Whitecaps 2025 roster, he also played for them in 2024

Kulokowski will not be part of this program going into the summer. It will be time to move on from him and look for transfer portal outfielders.

Game 1 of Cuvet 2026 golden spikes campaign starts at 5:00pm

Has anyone else with insight also heard about the reluctance of coaches (not Miami specifically, coaches across the board) to send their kids to the Northwoods League in recent years? Especially pitchers?

Hearing that the schedule/travel conditions up there really push quality guys away and that it's gotten worse in recent years, especially with the Minor Leagues going with the six-game series and universal Monday off rendering the Northwoods League's "we better prepare guys for the pros" argument toothless?

The reason why people are sending fewer players to these leagues is

1. Illegal tampering that goes on at these summer leagues
2. I guess they want to save the arms of the pitchers. A lot of pitchers will have a 20 IP limit set by their HC of their respected college

The tampering part makes sense. Especially as those league's coaches often coach at schools too, albeit at non-D1 spots.
