So the ONLY difference between these and our 2017 black jerseys is...a tiny bit of green around the number?

Are you serious? Is this real life?

Just wonder if the number font will be used on the regular jerseys as well or if they are sticking with the look from last year (please stick with last year's look).

Wrong.

THIIS is the ugliest jersey in UM history, worst material, no embroidering, just iron-on numbers...and the feathers...

They’re both are ugly.

But the clam incident is unforgivable.

All the mid-late 90’s, early 2000’s Nike uniforms were iron on numbers.

My circa 96-98 Nike uniform. Iron on numbers but stylish other than the questionable collar.

Then Nike gave us these fugly uniforms:

No.

No no no no no.

First, the iron-on numbers on the adidas jersey were particularly awful. It's like a thick substance that looks and feels and smells bad. It's as if they used orange marmalade and mint jelly, and then it dried out.

Second, the clam was merely a secondary logo, due to John Routh's ownership of the Sebastian design. At all times, both logos were available on different merchandise. At no time did we "lose" the Sebastian or Split-U logos, we just had an additional logo. This is not uncommon among bigger-selling schools, but people (falsely) act as if something was taken from us.

Finally, the only bad aspect of the bra strap was the bra strap itself. The front of the jersey is fine, and if Nike had ended the striping under the arms instead of taking it across the back, nobody would have had any issues with that jersey.

I couldn’t give two Shiites if we use Adidas. But Nike sucks in everything they make. Use Underarmour uniforms if you like.

Just go back to the clean uniforms of the 80’s and 90’s before brastraps, feathers etc. orange on white and white on orange. Green once a year and I’m ambivalent about using the black uni’s.

Fvck Nike sideways. They forced the blender clam down our throats and had the ugliest uniforms in UM history.
Ugliest?! **** nawl. You must have forgotten the “feathers” that adidas gave us, and the screwed up fonts, that nobody could read. Thank God for Mario coming to town. He gave them “directions” on what a Miami Hurricane uniform should look like. There is no telling wtf we would be wearing by now.

Friend, ugly is ugly.
If the bra strap and feather uniforms were chicks at a bar, you’d need to be 10 shots in to take either home.

I have said it before, many times, and I will say it again, many times, **** Adidas, please bring back Nike, sooner than later..........I'm running out of Canes gear!!!!
Every Nike school looks the same , no imagination. Next contract is with whoever pays and provides the most to the program.

I’m taking both of these jerseys, & it’s not even close. The only issues I had w Nike were the clam (Zoom Ibis), & the mismatched pro-combats, & the highlighter orange alternatives. Poor designs.

For the record, I don’t find anything particularly wrong w these “new” Miami nights. I would’ve switched the color scheme better so it doesn’t mimic Halloween, but it’s clean & 100% better than the 7-11 jawns.
