Panthers hire Bucs OC Canales as new coach

The Carolina Panthers have hired Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales as their new head coach, the team announced Thursday.

I know nothing about him.

I suspect people were interviewing the Panthers rather than the Panthers interviewing them.

I’d guess Brandon Staley back to Rams as DC

Morris brings in Zac Robinson with him as OC to Atlanta

Ben Johnson to Washington as HC. No clue who he brings as DC, probably someone like Eviro or Fangio if he can get him. …or what if Belichick? Usually the young Offensive HCs go for a legit DC to help them get off their feet.

Seattle seems like it’s completely open. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it be Vrabel or Quinn.

Arthur Smith could be a top OC target. Wouldn’t be surprised to see like Harbaugh go after him he seems like he’d fit perfectly with him. Or Harbaugh could go for Tanner Engstrandt - pass game coordinator on lions who coached for him at San Diego and Michigan. Engstrandt probably in line to be promoted to OC for lions if he stays.
