5’11 175lbs 3-star CB out of Opa Locka that goes to Dade Christian, was originally at Carol City

Had a great Junior year with 25tcks 18PBU’s & 8INT’s (4 pick 6’s)

He’s a kid with fantastic ball skills & plays with very good football IQ.
@:50 on his tape shows really good press man Cover ability, he immediately out of his stance flipped his hips after the initial first step by the WR, even though he gave inside release he played it perfect by initiating contact & getting on the hip pocket of the WR, then recognizing the route while in phase he leveraged to the WR’s outside shoulder & played over top of him doing a great job locating & high pointing the ball for the INT, that was textbook coverage.

@1:20 he again shows terrific man coverage skills, this is vs a Post route, he does a great job with not falling for anything the WR’s moves out of his release, he stays patient & displays great footwork understanding that all he has to do is shuffle his feet & maintain eye discipline while in his backpedal before the WR comes out of his break. But then he does something that you’re not supposed to do which is turn your back however, he has such fluid hips & good football IQ he already knows what the route is & where it’s going so he immediately plays to the outside shoulder of the WR & shows fantastic recovery speed while locating & playing the ball in the air to get the PBU. That’s natural ability that you can’t teach.

He’s a good sized corner with very good arm length & elite ball skills, kid is a pure Ballhawk & plays with natural instincts. Plays very well in Press man & can play off cover Zone, has gifted footwork & WR type hands. He also is a good tackler that plays with some burst & can fight off blocks to get to WR’s vs screen play. A high upside Field Corner with good speed.

Kid is surrounded by Canes fans on that Dade Christian staff, his DB coach Coach Coleman is definitely an ally of ours & has a very good relationship with DVD. He visited Miami back in July of this year for camp & is very familiar with our program.

Plays for Florida Fire 7V7.

Miami getting in early as his first official offer, but look for him to get more offers by his Senior year.

I actually like this kid and think he'd be a great 3rd corner and **** even a decent 2nd corner in this class.
