No disrespect but other than that north west broward corridor , western has always been in the worst easiest district talent wise. Winning 5 games ain't actually competing in my mind..winning against cooper, Flanagan, west broward, cypress bay Everglades etc.
Now the last few years they have taken down some big dogs with their teams.

The Hispanics have invaded that area though...check cypress bay. But these aren't Cubans, Puerto ricans, etc..these are central Americans I believe.

yeah heavy South American pop out west. That’s why you see all the baseball talent at McCarthy, Douglas, CB, Flanagan etc

The Cuban/PR communities are further south

Hallandale is in the district and im not sure if MNW is still in the same class...if they are they likely can beat AH

A lot of star power on that heritage team

could have 10+ 4 or 5 star kids in the 2022/2023 class

adding Innins and Fleming at WR and that deep RB group they should be very hard to stop

How is AH’s OL? They are losing at least two starters.
Thats a position they have to recruit every year...im not sure what they are working with talent wise. They also lost their mlb..im sure thy iwll be recruiting though to plug holes.

Heritage isn’t the only school that does it either. They’re just following the St Thomas formula. A lot of the parents believe that sacrificing a few hours a month so their kid can go to private school is worth it. A lot of the public schools these kids would otherwise be at aren’t good schools. Then there’s the flip side when kids transfer just to be part of a “big name” football program and end up buried on the depth chart. It’s awful tough to get college coaches’ attention when you don’t get on the field. You might have been the star at your neighborhood public school but now you’re third on the depth chart behind two P5 level recruits.
