6'0 170lbs 3-star Safety out of Winter Park Fl, goes to the same school as Marcus Clarke

Plays both WR & SS, had 55tcks 4TFL's 3INT's & 3PBU's his Junior season. Good tackler with ball skills, but questionable speed, nowhere near as fast as Clarke. But still a solid prospect.

Holds offers from UF, FSU, LSU, Louisville, Pitt, West Va & Illinois

I'm never a fan of questionable speed. I want the fastest defense in the country.

Who should we be realistically targeting at DB next season? I know you won't even bother with the bag kids
 
Florida is the leader. I mentioned him in September, stating UF offered and that we need to get on him asap. His DB coach is a diehard UF fan that works with the RatPak (created by Keiwan Ratliff) Ratliff is now on UF's staff in a non field position. I would be surprised if he signed anywhere but UF.
 
It seems like in the box safeties are all we recruit. Manni is in love with being slow. Him and dorito would hit it off. Holding hands and smiling ear to ear like little girls

Yea as you've all said, it seems like he'll be a Gator. Read something that he said he was going to commit the day he got the offer but decided to wait:

After being offered a scholarship to play for his “dream school,” the Winter Park standout athlete said he was close to committing to the Gators while on the phone with UF assistant director of player personnel Keiwan Ratliff.

“Yeah that clicked in real quick,” said Mitchell of committing to the Gators. “He said I gotta talk to Dan [head coach Dan Mullen] before I committed though. I was going to commit like right when it happened.

“But … my mom said she doesn’t want me getting right into it that quick. She did say that she’s down for whatever I’m down for, so if I committed, she’s not gonna be against it or anything.”
