Since we have a WV guy as our OL coach, its time to tape into the WV OL base and get some of the talent in that state on the OL. Spring Valley has produced a P5 OL the last 6 years and they arent going to WVU either. The Coaching staff is all Marshall grads but even they know they are producing P5 level talent on the OL. Tennessee has already been mining the area but West Virginians love the beach as much as they love deer. Plus with a WV legend as our OL coach, we could definitely get into this recruitment.

Here is the next best OL from the state of WV

Thin, athletic kid with good length and good feet in the run game with sealing off the edge and turning his man. I need to see him in a camp setting against pass rushers because you don't see enough in those clips to evaluate him as a pass-blocking OT. He has the requisite athleticism but I want to see him against top-level edge rushers. He would need to redshirt in order to get stronger and refine his technique.

Coach Justice stopped by West Va State earlier.

West Va St is a HBCU DII school in Charleston, they're in the same Mountain East conference as Concord University the team that Garin used to coach. Quincy Wilson is the RB's coach/recruiting coordinator for WVS & Garin's old teammate from their playing days at WVU.

WV State is an HBCU by history only. Pretty sure the school is majority white commuter students nowadays. But I cant blame them considering the lack of black people in WV and the declining numbers of the overall HS graduates in the state. There is actually a push to close some of the states public universities and colleges because of the lack of In-state HS graduates and most OOS students that come to the state usually go to WVU, Marshall, and Shephard College in the Eastern Panhandle.

Tall kid with some athleticism. Will most certainly need to redshirt and get into a big time S&C program wherever he signs. Interestingly, he plays RT. Anybody know why or if their LT is any good?
