2015 OT with a Miami offer

Christian Pellage is a 2015 left tackle who plays at Nature Coast Technical in Brooksville, Florida.

The six-foot-seven 259-pound mammoth of a teenager has a Miami offer along with UCF, USF, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, and a Vanderbilt offer.

His head coach tells me he is very interested in the 'Canes after camping their this past summer.

Pellage is a very intriguing prospect who has a tremendous upside along with a 500-pound squat.

This one was hard to read Nash. Thanks for the info though.

- plays with a mean streak
- finishes his blocks
- technique isn't great, overextends his feet when he blocks
- not sure the quality of talent he plays, but it didn't look that great
- didn't get to see a lot of passing plays, but wasn't a big fan of his pass-protection skills
- pretty decent run blocker when he gets his pads low, but again, his technique isn't that good
- while he's big, his frame doesn't actually seem that large, not sure how many pounds he can put on


I'll never claim to be an OL scout (or anything close), and Kehoe and company know a lot more than I do, but I'm not too thrilled about this kid. I haven't seen who else it out there for prospects, but I would hope we can do better than this.
