1st UM game I ever attended. The SDSU series was great, brawls, high scoring and a two hour drive from LA. Went to this game and the one in 1992( the one where the brawl went into the stands and Marshall Faulk was hurt and didn't play)

IIRC, the two schools had signed a long-term agreement to play for years but after all the fights and stuff, it was cut short in 1992...
