126 South Florida Players in the NFL

I saw these articles in the Sun Sentinel as well. A few observations, some of these players we never recruited by the U. I somewhat follow S. Florida recruiting and I just do not remember us targeting 80% of them, a few we just flat out lost to other schools due to our coaching staff, etc. So can a new coach close this gap? if we just get 40% of these kids, its NC time again. Its more of an identification issue than loosing kids to SEC schools.

I'm not tunnel-visioned on Butch by any means, but it seems like those below 5-star kids that beg for a Miami offer always end up ballin' out, and those are the kids that Butch scooped up with ease. No doubt in my mind that he finds TY Hiltons of the world every recruiting cycle.
 
That article is a Mario advertisement. Hire him, and the kids will come here. Hire seasoned coordinators to coach them up.

p.s. Not my number 1 choice, but I certainly understand the argument.
