Any one surprised at what is being revealed especially after the Swasey firing?? Arrgh!!

The gross incompetence rife throughout the entire program with retention of subpar coaches, hiring of underqualified high school level assistants, incompetent HCs ... I am surprised that we won as many as we did.

We were nothing but a glorified high school program.

DS and her ilk destroyed this program. The day she left, things started changing for the better.

And all the morons threatening not to come back because we got rid of the final piece that defined that era... good riddance and stay out!!

No more hiring of underqualified, unproven alumini.

Swasey was strength and conditioning coach, but couldn't work out his own players...

And that too because he couldn't pass a basic NCAA certification course... that should say what the level of expectations was at the U!!

I'm shocked at the fact he didn't even have his certifications! This day and age to even be an assistant strength coach you have to have them. I used to work in the sports training realm and can't believe what I'm hearing. I'm not saying certifications make you a great trainer cause I have seen both sides of that argument but they at least show that you understand the human anatomy and basic foundation it takes to be a trainer.
 
I wouldn't mind some clarification on how long he wasn't allowed to do his job fully as the article didn't say. Still, that's pretty **** bad any way you look at it.

I had heard from multiple people how he was thought of as one of the worst in the business and that certainly helps make their point.

[MENTION=713]INCaneFan[/MENTION] can you expand upon this at all? I understand if you don't want to say who, but you were on point for a while knowing he was gone.
