After last nights defensive debacle, the defense is now 118 out of 120 FBS teams

They are 116 out of 120 in rushing defense allowing 1504 yard rushing and 4.98 yards per carry and 19 rushing touchdowns.

Put Chick at tackle with two others and go 3/4, it could not be any worse. Johnson, Perryman, Paul, Kirby, Cain and Terry as options for the primary four.

118 out of 120 sounds about right. All you can do is lol at this point. The defense is dismal.
 
Get rid of D'nofrio. That's it. Done. Maybe it's not his fault? Doesn't matter. He has put a stink on the program.
 
DAYUM...For Miami that's inexcusable. No excuse what so ever can cover Coach D ***. No way any team ranked before us has better athletes on defense than Miami outside of the Bama's and LSU's. completely unacceptable regardless of inexperience or talent. The issues with this defense goes deeper than X's and O's and inexperience way deeper IMO

We may lack talent, but there is no way in **** we should be that bad. We are literally the worst in all of D1 college ball.

I want to be all on board with coaching staff and not bad mouth anybody, but that is not what the university is paying them for, and not what we as fans pay them for. We buy licensed merchandise, watch the programs, and some even buy tickets. Yes, we pay them.

Can't get off blocks
Kids taking bad angles to the football
Pushed around up front
Zero lateral ability from defensive ends, can't seal the edge
Low football iq from linebackers
Defensive backs too slow to react, not breaking well on the football


That is what I noticed from being at the game. It's poor fundamentals as much as anything.

D'Onofrio is getting through to these guys and his scheme is the most un-Miami scheme in world history.

If we were in Big 12, SEC, or Pac 12 they'd have to create a new defensive ranking because we'd be worse than 120th
 
We cant be that bad talent wise. Mid 70's, ok. Almost dead last in the NCAA? You could recruit strictly South Florida and by accident come up with a mid 60's level defense. Dorito is some kind of D-coordinator.
