Beware of the Black ***!

VT is 11-8 (2-4)

After starting 7-0, they are 4-8, they lost 2 straight and they are 8-3 at home.

It's hard to forget a kid like Eric Green a/k/a the Black ***. He scores 25PPG and gets 4APG. They also have a good forward in Jarrell Eddie 14PPG and 7RPG. Including FSU, we will play 3 games this week. I am not so much concerned with this game as much as I am concerned with playing 3 games in 7 days (2 on the road).

I am not going to say things like this is a "Must Win," or if we're going to lose a game it "better be at NCST." Both of those comments are stupid and I am sure one of our dumb fans will say it. We're an incredibly good team, we're only going to get better too (as RJ gets in better shape and hopefully Brown gets it up stairs) so let's just keep winning games, one at a time.

To the pollsters who ranked us behind an MSU team that LOST and that we BEAT...thank you for being ignorant. To Roger Clarkson and John McNamara who ranked us #22 in the nation, thank you for not taking your job serious.

Let's Go Canes!!!!

Well, I'll say it....sort of. While not even close to a must win, I think it's important because I think there is a very good chance we lose in Raleigh, and I'd rather not have an 0-2 week, ever, but especially coming on the heels of an amazing week with all the national publicity. I'd take 1-1 this week, and wouldn't care how we got there.

Here's a "fun" thought...

If we went .500 the rest of the way, we would finish with a 12-6 record in the ACC or .667 Winning Percentage in the ACC.

I think we lose 3 games the rest of the regular season and win the league title outright

Miami will win by another big margin. VTech doesn't have a a lot of depth. These the type of games miami has to win if they want to win the conference

This year's team is different. Not withstanding the BC, I see a tight game at the half, give or take 2-3 point lead, one way or another.

Then I see us pulling away big time in the 2nd half. We win by double-digits.

Green is a great player, however our defense is just too good now for one player to kill us. We shut down Curry (Duke), Snaer (FSU), Galloway (LaSalle), Len (MD), Anderson (BC). On the flip side, their defense is horrible. Just need to make our shots.

I'm leaving for the game at 5pm. I will take some pictures for everyone while there.

Not liking the 9pm tip-off. That's a lot of time to sit around a hotel waiting.
