Our loss to UF got me thinking so I did some research and I’m a week late with my post but this is how far we’ve fallen.

Miami is 1-15 in its last 16 games against P5 non conference schools away from home. Neutral or away. This goes back to 2009. The only win was the bowl game against WVU in 2016. We’re 2-17 if you want to throw in 2008.

Oh lord thats disgusting. Throw in our conference road games and the record probably isnt that much better. I recall some road wins off the top of my head, but this is still a sad stat.

Usually, teams that win a lot don't change coaches every 3 or 4 years.

Just. Wow. And that's 4 different head coaches over that time span.

It's not how far we've fallen - it's just consistent with who we actually are.

We've realistically been an 8 win team for 15 years now.

Some years we catch some breaks in close games, and finish with 9 or 10 wins. Some years we don't, and finish with 6 or 7 wins.

We're never as good as you think. We're never as bad as you think. We're always above average.
