I'm ****ed D&D left 7 episodes on the table. HBO offered them the full 10 episodes for s7&8. S8 feels too rushed. This season proved they're useless without the source material. I had higher expectations. Other than that, VFX, acting, soundtrack are still top notch.

One of Ramin Djawadi's best imo. The unsung hero of the whole show. He also does the soundtrack for Westworld. I heard some "Dr. Ford", "Paint it Black" and the main title theme in there. Light of the Seven is my favorite though. One of the best scenes in the show too.

They've always had good soundtracks but the one for the NK walking to Bran scene was intense. Elevated that scene to another level.

Notice at the end, they didn't show the NK. I saw a theory where the NK split up his army and his main target is King's Landing. He's bringing a bigger army and his dragon there. Easy new recruits for his army at KL.
