    Gino has done a good job recruiting kids who actually enroll. I'll give him that. Problem is once they get here they get worse.

    We went from a perennial Omaha program to a program that might make the NCAAT as a 2 seed in a good year. And just about every hitter gets worse year to year. There's your doom and gloom.

    Close call for whether it's more pathetic how poorly our draft eligible kids made out, or how bad we look for next year. What a disaster.

    Great info. It seems like any draft eligible college player drafted signs, but that really puts it in perspective. I remember a few years back a kid from fsu, an outfielder, came back for his senior year and moved way up the draft board. I think he ended up going first round. Anybody remember...

    It's fascinating to me how many kids sign for peanuts to languish in the minors (sounds like a crap existence) for a couple of years before going pro in something other than baseball. Must be an intense competitive drive/love of the game.

    A team drafting ADC in the 2nd round is either going to come in way under slot, or has terrible scouting.

    ADC's college career progression reminds me so much of Harold Martinez who ended up going 2nd round and signing for 300-400k after a monster sophomore year and bust junior year.
