I can't think of a reason why L wouldn't at least apply for a waiver for Brooks. Worse case scenario it gets denied. I would be very interested in knowing why it isn't even being attempted.

Agree on beat reporters. Very simple inquiry: "Are you pursuing a waiver for Brooks? If not, why not, because the NCAA is handing out waivers like candy on Halloween."

Obviously Brooks should play this season. I can't believe this is even a debate. Gak, Miller, Waardenburg and a freshman 3* up front is terrible.

What makes everybody suddenly think Brooks is playing this year? I haven't seen any indication of that.

I can't speak for Consig, but Miller not being very good at basketball is in no way an indictment of him. It's an indictment of the coaching staff for failing to fill an absolutely vital (and obvious) roster gap this past off season.

We need to get 30 minutes per game out of him. It's ridiculous that he is being counted on so heavily (even at all).

Good to have confirmation that McGusty hasn't been kicked off the team....at least not yet. Not so good to see that Rodney's conditioning hasn't held up through 1 preseason game.
