D1 does have Dominguez and Bermudez in the portal on their transfer tracker, so those two, at least, seem to be gone for sure.

He was alternating with Kayfus there yesterday. Dorian at 2B and Dom at SS with Cyr sliding between the spots. Torres and Garcia at 3B. Yoyo was hitting and running only after an injury scare Thursday.

Roster has finally been updated. Cut down to 35 (still higher than our usual 31-33 to start the season). Derks, Fry, Dominguez, and Bermudez are all gone.

Still all 39 on the roster by my count. We’ll see if anything gets updated before practice starts in a few weeks.

Seems like this gets said every year, and we end up scrambling for a productive third outfielder, but on paper we have a lot of outfield depth.

Definitely logic to bringing him in to pitch, while also having an experienced, if underwhelming at the plate, catcher on the roster in case Jones and/or Perez go down.

If it’s not a mistake by the Gulls (Garland withdrawls?), I suppose we need a live a body back there (if you’re not converting Cyr) and you’re hoping maybe Lopez can tap into the potential others have seen.

If Walters doesn’t actively want to be a starter, leave it alone unless the rotation is an absolute disaster again. I have a good amount of confidence in Ziehl transitioning to the Friday spot. Torres would be my early frontrunner to replace him as the primary setup man.

Not in the D1 transfer tracker and was included in the school’s summer ball posts unlike Rossow, Wallen, Mike Rosario, etc. I’m assuming he’s back at this point.

Rossow is in the portal. I’ve been looking for D1 to add his name since the school left him off the summer ball list they put out. The final deadline to enter is Friday.
