Morales has hit the ball well. Pretty much the only positive I can find from this game.

Garland keeps going.... Interesting decision with all the arms that will need work without a midweek game.

He gave up a pair of hard hit balls in the 6th, but a pretty decent outing from Garland overall.

Maybe it’s just the first game, but I’m not seeing the improved defense Gino has been touting.

Can’t say how they practice on non-scrimmage days, but the way Gino runs scrimmages is night and day different/better than what Morris was doing. That first year was an amazing breath of fresh air.
