Did you happen to catch whether the announcers said what he did? I was only half paying attention and got the impression he was suspended.

I suppose you could also try Federman, but I don’t want to mess with the bullpen at the moment.

That’s what I was thinking too. I’m not sure Slade is ready, but the alternative is Keysor/bullpen game Thursday. I would shuffle Slade back to Sunday starting with VT though.

Veliz was nasty there. Good series win (with the McMahon asterisk of course). This is the first week since GT week where we’ve unambiguously exceeded expectations, we’re above .500 in conference play, and our live RPI is up to 22.

Hope Toral is okay. He didn’t look comfortable after his dive back to first.

Jenkins has had a great week

Can’t say enough about what Federman gave us there. The bullpen is in decent shape with Veliz, Maury, and Mixon ready for game two. Solid outing for McKendry also. He’s not what he was for us last year, but at the end of the day we win when he’s on the mound.
