Glad we were able to save the bullpen tonight. Not a must win series this weekend, but we’ll have a lot of work to do post-Louisville if we don’t.

Slade is at 90 pitches through 5.0 IP. Probably only one more inning from him despite FGCU’s hit total.

Toral goes deep to make 4-0. Should have been a two run homer but Jenkins had just gotten picked off at first. That’s a big run though given Cecconi’s weekly struggles in the 5th and/or 6th.

Guessing Keysor will be the other starter again since he didn’t pitch this weekend, although I suppose the same could be said of Gates. I’d rather give Cloonan another look instead of seeing Jenkins again.
