Wow, you got me. I offered no comment about Riley as an OC; I said this was a desperate hire by Dabo as he sees his offense, recruiting, and national relevance slip. Gattis was the hottest OC in the country about this time last year. And? Come back to this in two years. It will go fast.

Actually I think this is a panic move. Dabo has been all about culture and continuity. Now he chases the flavor of the moment as both the offense and recruiting are regressing. What he did even 3 years ago won't work anymore and he doesn't have a new plan.
