FWIW I witnessed Oluwaseun running with the 1s at RT during a practice about 7-10 days ago.

JO has started 19 games at left or right tackle. Obviously it was against teams like San Diego State or San Jose State but this isn't a Tommy Kennedy situation imo. As you noted, it's the depth behind JW and JO that's real troubling.

I disagree because Williams and Oluwaseun have a combined 11 years experience and 40+ starts at tackle on this level. They wouldn't dominate against Bama but they wouldn't be completely overmatched. They have played in big games before. This is different than playing Ike Walker, McLaughlin or...

5th year player with 21 career starts. Played big-time HS ball in Texas (teammate of Cee Dee Lamb). Depth behind Williams and Oluwaseun would be sketchy but considering the circumstances we could do much worse than having those two as the starters.

Is that funny because Nelson is the best OT in America?

Being without Scaife and Nelson isn't ideal but Oluwaseun can probably hold it down at tackle. And we know Jarrid Williams can handle it.

I really don't know what I'm talking about but if Scaife knew this prior to his arrest then he'll be suspended. If it was an honest mistake on his part then there's a 50% chance he'll be suspended.

Scaife kind of matches Cribby's hints from earlier this month: "not a starter but plays a lot" and "won't affect the game plan" Pretty sure Williams began camp as RT1
