    Shoop, Robinson, Williams and Simpson provide some much needed testosterone to a staff that was known for coddling and playing favorites. Manual remaining in charge of that room is fine, I just hope he reconsiders and let's someone else call plays during the week and on game day.

    I'm aware of this. This isn't a baggy pants farce, this is major college football and if these guys demand to be taken seriously and want to move up, they should consider dropping the monikers and it should start with us. Just my two cents.

    CMR isn't hip-hop though, dude. We don't call Hickson E-Hix because he comes across as unassuming. But because Williams drops some dope one-liners, and Robinsons's first-name is Travaris, we automatically appoint them their requisite hip-hop nicknames because it's cool to dumb things down.

    See...here it is again. You refer to me as Dude because you assume I'm white. Here's what I'm getting at: it's disrespectful to refer to them as T-Rob and T-Will like they're in CB4 or something. Henceforth they are known as Robinson and Williams. I honestly think it de-legitimizes them otherwise.

    Serious question(s): Why do many Miami fans refer to most of the staff by their real names except for DVD, T-Will and T-Rob? White coaches are referred to like adults but some fans infantilize the new hires with hip-hop nomenclature. Is this a racist practice, or am I reading into it a bit too...
