    Lonnie entering the draft

thats why i dont get KD. you blow a 3-1 lead to a team and join them. i would have been so sick all summer and obsessed with beating them. Lebron ****ed me off going to miami but he just needed to get away and clevelands team was trash. he didnt go to the celtics when they had rondo and the big...

    Lonnie entering the draft

i think your body is not fully developed at a young age. I think you are wrong about injuries. The difference today is you can come back better because of medicine, but i dont believe you are physically ready to handle the 82 games unless you are 20-21 or a Lebron style freak of nature. i just...

    Lonnie entering the draft

i think NBA is better than it was 10 years ago. I think there is definitely better quality. personally, i just dont like a league that is too young because guys arent mentally or physically developed. that is why alot of guys have to retire young. i dont believe your body is ready for an 82 game...

    Lonnie entering the draft

you are right. i prefer the old style. I disagree today players are better. They are in better shape because of the advances in training and medicine, however, many of them lack the killer instinct of the old players.

    Lonnie entering the draft

thats part of the point. you think lebron or harden are putting up those numbers if they had to go against that defense? the NBA today is a very soft league. i watch a game a few weeks ago, all Karl Anthony Towns is doing is shooting spot up threes and im thinking to myself, this kid could score...

    Lonnie entering the draft

so right. NBA loves workout warriors. then a kid like kuzma, brogdon, etc will slip and come into the league and play well. Who wanted Fred VanFleet? meanwhile the kid is playing well. meanwhile the same people are still saying how great zach lavine can be lol.

    Lonnie entering the draft

my point is if MOST of these kids stayed 2-3 years, they would get paid more on their 2nd contract. the big money comes from second contracts so if lonnie spends two years floating around the G league or barely playing, he wont cash in as much. he if went back, improved his draft status and...

    Lonnie entering the draft

players might be physically in better shape but their fundamentals are horrible. the end. AAU and all that ruined the game. alot of guys today are softer and dont understand team ball.

    Lonnie entering the draft

dude i watch the nba. the quality of play is HORRIBLE. no one plays defense, big man can even post up, guys dont have mid-range games, etc do you realize how many points a guy like michael jordan, isiah thomas, or larry bird would score with todays rules and lack of fundamentals?

    Lonnie entering the draft

spurs and warriors were built around guys who stayed in school. Like i said, there will always be guys who are just elite exceptions but in most cases, the guys like lonnie walker make a big mistake.

    Lonnie entering the draft

Giannis grew up in europe. different. Klay, Kwahi, westbrook, paul george, draymond, lillard, etc. Kyrie is the son of a pro. There are always exceptions but the majority of guys need development. Lonnie Walker is not as good nor will he be in the league of the kids you named.

    Lonnie entering the draft

hes not ready. these kids today just leave right away instead of staying 2-3 years and developing so they get paid big on a second contract. aside from lebron and kd, almost all the top players played at least 2 years college.
