Yea I agree, don't see that happening. They will keep it as is and tighten the waiver process. Once they opened the floodgates with Fields it was a free for all. Unless you have a legitimate reason for transferring you sit.

Exactly, that's why you generally want the transfer mandated sit out year to run concurrently with your redshirt year. The problem is most players typically use the redshirt year the 1st year.

That's not true in regards to the eligibility, unless he gets a medical redshirt somewhere along the way. Typically, you'd want your transfer and redshirt years to run concurrently. So someone as a true sophomore transferring (not Lo) after the season who is NOT given a waiver by the NCAA...
