Chief of Staff is a made up, do nothing position. Of course becoming safeties coach would be a promotion. Reed was probably supposed to run around the stadium and get fans excited, but coronavirus ruined that.

Ed Reed is a meaningless figurehead who was brought in to excite the fanbase. I can’t believe some people on here bought into the hype.
