Honestly, I think Manny probably survives a 5 win campaign. Although that depends somewhat on how bad the losses are. He’d definitely not getting fired if we’re bowl eligible. I don’t like it, but it’s reality.

Yeah. That's kind of my POV. I wouldn't be happy with 9-3 at all. However, as long as Diaz is coach, I'll actually be expecting worse than 9-3.

The 44-21 win over Temple in 2002 was Miami's closest win over Temple in the 13 matchups from 1992-2005. (Temple actually creamed Miami 34-0 way back in 1930, which was the lone matchup before 1992.) My God, losing to Temple would be awful.

So we should consider it a great year just because it's better than what we've had recently? Jesus. And, no, 9-3 would not be unprecedented since 2002. In 2003, we were 11-2. In 2004-05, we were 9-3. In 2009 and 2013, we were 9-3 in the regular season. In 2017, we were 10-3. Following that up...
