Every single possession: don’t challenge the team by forcing them to cover a lot of space, instead bunch the box. Burn plays by running it into the boxes. Put your QB in a horrible 3rd down situation which he can’t handle. Rinse and Repeat.

Schiano has a reputation as being a caveman coach that wants to run the ball. But look at their formation on offense. Even Caveman Schiano doesn’t bunch the box to run it. Even he knows that’s stupid.

I don’t Mario has forced anything on him. I think it’s the fact that Dawson doesn’t know how to run a successful Air Raid offense, is exactly why Mario hired him.

We had every receiver (TE and WR) near the line of scrimmage every play that series of downs. Just an impossible offense to make work. And so alien to what every successful team does in 2023.
