    Yeah, every Air Raid offense does. The two essential plays of every Air Raid: 1. Verts 2. The shallow mesh I’m not hating on Vert. I just think it’s odd that some people are arguing, “Hey, we are going to the Air Raid route tree. We need to be able to teach more than Verts.”

    Lol. Wut? Please go back and read my post. Nowhere does it say Verts is ”every Air Raid play.” I said it’s the essential play of every Air Raid offense. You understand those are two completely different sentences, correct?

    I hope that isn’t true because 4 Verts is the still the essential play of every Air Raid offense. Including Lashlee’s version of it last year at SMU.

    If your offense requires your WR Coach be schooled in the ways of it, you’re running the wrong offense. People made this same point about Stubbs and it was dumb then. An ”Air Raid” offense is like 4 plays. The route tree isn’t overly complicated. Just go out and get somebody that is young...
