    No idea if he was fired BECAUSE of that reason. But you can find a post I made in this thread on like page 3 or 4 where the Utah Writer does say he wasn't a good recruiter and hadn't signed a single WR while at Utah.

    That's actually a pretty decent starting point when wanting to judge a person's personality and how well it would play up to recruits. Of course that isn't the only measure, and as more inputs come in, you would factor them in. But if you knew nothing else about a person, and gun to your head...

    As long as he's elite on the trail. WR and RB coach are two positions on want leaning towards the recruiting side than the coaching side. RB obviously more than WR. But WR is still a position that needs to be one of your overall better sellers on the staff.
