The idea is not at all absurd, it’s 100% truth. It’s just not the whole truth. Letting in some brown kids doesn’t change the fact their primary demographic is rich white kids. That’s not a value judgement, just a fact.
Really? It's clear that kids get in based on their names, the only debate here is what percentage of Harvard students are there for non-academic reasons.
Harvard has insanely high entrance standards to keep out the wrong sort of students, and those standards only apply to applicants whose parents aren't clearly the right kind of people. So I guess we all know who the wrong kind of students are.
