Maybe I just look with NBA eyes, as I watch much more of the league. Shooting is skewed these days, the college line is laughably close. Guys like Jarren Jackson and Wendall Carter are shooting 45% and all I hear is how DJ is this knock-down shooter. Yeah when he's cooking for a 5 minute stretch...

I just want you all to ask yourself a question. ACC title game, down 69-67, 5 seconds left. Lykes drives, kicks it out to DJ in the corner... Is it going in?

Players I'd prefer shooting a big 3 in order. 1. Lonnie 2. Lykes 3. Lawrence

I'm only back because I will not let some of you be prisoners of the moment. Kid was crucial in getting the W today. But when he starts to feel himself and jacks it from Curry range I laugh out loud. He is a mediocre athlete with a nice stroke but is an overall average shooter and a below...

We have bigger issues. But 15% from 3 through 5 ACC games. Just Saying.

Finally some good insight instead of immediate defense. I understand your point, from a strategic standpoint it's probably the right call given spacing & free throws, but on the college level I just want the best 5 out there. If they can't hit free throws we're in big trouble come March anyway...

He plays because we have an 8 man rotation and he is... *sigh our best shooter, but when his shot is not falling (watch ACC play) he is an ineffective player.

I'm not an internet jackass, I take pride in not being a homer although I love the Canes. Don't like his style of play and Coach L SHOULD be giving most of his minutes to Lonnie.
